Always a fan favourite, the new Dragster is a stunning and exciting example of Italian genuity, attention to detail and, most importantly, a passion to create a vehicle that excites. True to its heart, the new Dragster incorporates high-end engineering mixed with motorcycle racing DNA.
While its Italjet heritage is clearly visible, it is a modern re-birth going a step further. Similarities with the original Dragster from 1998 like the trellis frame and the centre hub steering remain. However, the use of modern designs and materials, the powerful liquid cooled four-stroke engine and the wide range of accessories available make it a truly unique vehicle.

Do you want something really special? Due to popular demand, Italjet has released a small number of Dragsters in anthracite/gold colour, similar to the first 500 units produced in 2022 that were numbered and signed by Massimo Tartarini.

Available from Australian dealerships in very limited numbers.
The unique Center Hub Steering separates the steering, braking, and suspension function, providing unique stability. It filters any kind of roughness, without transmitting vibrations to the handlebar. The original Dragster featured this unique setup and the only other 2-wheeled vehicle fitted with this system is the Bimota Tesi 3D.
True to Leopoldo Tartarini’s origin with Ducati, the Dragster features a molybdenum-chrome frame reinforced with die cast aluminum plates. A trellis frame provides a strong, lightweight structure that simplifies placement of engine and components, and gives good access for maintenance. But most importantly, it connects the steering head to the swingarm pivot as directly as possible and provides a unique rigidity due to its interwoven structure.
A liquid-cooled Euro 5-designed engine with an output of almost 20hp combined with an overall dry weight of 112kg delivers the best power-to-weight ratio in any production scooter available. The Italian-designed four-valve engine builds one unit with the swingarm that is suspended with an adjustable Fastace monoshock absorber for optimal drivability. The wide 140mm rear tyre provides ultimate grip on the road and ensures an optimal transmission of the high power output from the engine to the road.
LED lights are now universal in most new vehicles. However, the Dragster goes a step further with its animated front and rear LED light systems: You’d have to see it in real life when the vehicle is turned on. Just the lighting alone emits attitude that there is a serious racer and contender springing into life ready to ride.
